First course of Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma training
A Chinese proverb says "With the wind of change some build walls, others build windmills". These sentiments are realized at the completion of the first course of Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma training
For the first time, 140 colleagues participated in the Lucca and Engraving Solutions production workshop.
The goal is to train all employees from BA Tissue by 2021 on the issues of continuous improvement and provide an essential framework of the Lean six Sigma approach. This approach is based on the fusion of two methodologies:
Lean: create customer value by reducing waste
Six Sigma: a methodology to optimize the processes through the reduction of their variability. The projects are developed mainly through the acronym DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control).
Yellow Belt Lean Six Sigma is the first step in the Lean Six Sigma growth path that includes four different levels (Green Belt, Black Belt, Master Black Belt) with different types of training and involvement; each level is coordinated and standardized by the K.Körber Excellence organization, founded in 2018 and dedicated to Operational Excellence activities at the corporate level. The ultimate goal is to form global perspective, which is a common standard for all areas of business.
