Our activities are included in the Annex to the Prime Ministerial Decree of 22 March 2020, as subsequently amended, among those permitted.

 

Our first objective concerns the health and safety of our employees as well as the employees of our customers, suppliers and business partners. In recent weeks, we have followed all the indications provided by the Government decree and the measures adopted by the local and national health authorities, and implemented strict safety and anti-accounting protocols in our work activities.

 

In compliance with the Italian Decree Law no. 6 of February 23, 2020 and subsequent measures, including the Prime Ministerial Decree of 11 March and 22 March 2020, we wish to inform you that under the ATECO CLASS to which it belongs, Fabio Perini can CONTINUE TO SUPPORT the production operations of our customers.

 

Given the context of social and health alarm and following the indications provided by the government decree and the measures adopted by the local health authorities, to protect both employees and collaborators, the Körber Tissue companies have decided to temporarily suspend production activities at the Fabio Perini plants in Lucca and Calderara di Reno (BO), MTC in Porcari (LU) and Engraving Solutions in Lucca, from tomorrow, March 17th, until March 23rd.

Having taken note by the institutional bodies of the situation that has arisen, with regard to the risk of spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), and taking into account the Italian Decree Law 23 February 2020, n. 6 – urgent measures for containment and management of the epidemiological emergency from COVID-2019 – we wish to inform you that the Fabio Perini companies in the world and MTC s.r.l., are monitoring the general situation on a daily basis in Italy and worldwide, taking all necessary precautions.

Valmet and Fabio Perini have established an Industrial Internet ecosystem partnership to strengthen collaboration in the tissue industry. The target is to allow tissue producers and converters to work together more efficiently, and to exchange knowledge and resources for the benefit of their customers.

Fabio Perini S.p.A. Brazil is enlarging its administrative offices in Joinville and its production plant to handle the increasing demand from the Brazilian and South American market for tissue paper and folded paper products.

 

Francesco De Luca is Fabio Perini SpA’s new General Manager for the Bologna site.

Aged 46, born in Naples, a degree in mechanical engineering with an MBA at Milan’s MIP Politecnico, he has worked with several multinational corporations such as the Metecno Group, the Candy Hoover Group and Norsk Hydro, where he had the opportunity to extend his knowledge in the field of general management, working in several extra-European countries such as China, Uzbekistan, Russia, Iran, Syria, Turkey and Egypt.

Fabio Perini’s Industry 4.0  project is having its debut at MIAC 2019.

Fabio Perini supplies machinery for Tissue paper:  thanks to Microsoft technology and to the advisory services of SofJam, an intelligent control centre is being designed which can optimise production, simplify line management and  benefit from predictive maintenance.
